Method

How to make cream and chocolate swivels

for the cream:

Dissolve the yeast in the just warm milk, then add the egg.

Then add flour and sugar and start kneading the dough.

and finally the butter and flavorings.

Mix everything well until you get a soft and homogeneous mixture. Then put it in a greased bowl and let it rise in the oven with the light on for a couple of hours.

Tightly roll the dough into a kind of sausage.

Then, with a floured knife, cut it into swivels about 2 fingers thick.

Arrange the swivels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and leave to rise, always in the oven off with the light on, for another hour.
