There tropical tart it's a tart with soft base made with the crafty mold and with a tropical decoration on top. In fact, fruit simulates a beach with palm trees, but you can opt for many different decorations to indulge your children, varying types of fruit and of course designs. If you want, you can also opt for a more classic and sober decoration and vary the type of cream according to your tastes, the choice is yours;) Elisa and I had a lot of fun making this 4-handed cake!
How to make the tropical tart
Whip the eggs with sugar and vanilla, then add oil and milk slowly and finally sifted flour and yeast.
Grease and flour the smart mold, pour the dough into it and cook for about 20 minutes in a preheated convection oven at 180 ° C, then take out of the oven and let it cool.
In the meantime, prepare the custard: whip the egg yolks with the sugar, then add the sifted flour and finally stir in the milk, then add the lemon peel (whole, not grated) and cook over low heat, stirring constantly, to obtain a thick cream, then remove from heat.
Peel the fruit and cut it (the banana in half lengthwise, kiwi and orange into wedges).
Once cool, gently unmold the base and turn it upside down on a serving dish.
Fill the groove with the still hot cream and level the surface well, then arrange the fruit forming the palms, as in the photo.
The tropical tart is ready: if you don't serve it immediately, sprinkle it with a little lemon juice to keep the fruit from blackening.
